Original Title: Vrusshabha
MOVIE
ngl, I shoulda been asleep hours ago - but here I am, just finished watching Vrusshabha Unveiled & I'm like - literally - buzzing. Never thought I was gonna get sucked into a reincarnation drama, but my sister forced me to watch it & honestly - it was good - like really good, I mean damn, it was solid.
Okay, so the plot - get this - it's like if Star Wars & Reincarnation had a baby & that baby watched too much Bollywood. Two enemies from a past life, reborn as father-son in the next. Crazy right? But the way they handle it - it's not hokey or anything, it's like - deadass serious & it works. But then - like - there's this whole subplot about family loyalty & honor & stuff - kinda got lost in there tbh.
And the acting - oh man the acting. The dude who plays the son - he's got this intense vibe going on - reminds me of the guy who played Kylo Ren - but like - not as emo. He's got this raw edgy energy that's just - wow. But then the dad - he's like the perfect counterbalance - all calm & collected & stuff - really nailed the role. My roomate hated it tho - said it was too over the top - but I think he just didn't get it.
Plus the cinematography - highkey amazing. Like there's this scene where the son realizes who he used to be - & the way they use the lighting & the camera angles - it's just stunning. I was literally on the edge of my seat - fr fr. But then there were some scenes that were just - ugh - like the fight scenes - they were just too much - too fast & too loud & just - too much. But the rest of it - really good, really really good.
(Oh btw, this reminded me of when I watched Inception - same kind of mind-bending, reality-twisting stuff - but without the spinning tops.)
Anyway, I'm gonna wrap this up - it's like 1am & I've got work in the morning. But seriously - if you've got the time - check out Vrusshabha Unveiled - it's worth it. I mean, it's not perfect - there were parts that kinda dragged & some of the dialogue felt forced - but overall - it's a solid watch. Like, I'm not saying it's the best movie ever or anything - but it's definately one of the better ones I've seen recently. And that's saying something - cuz I watch a lot of movies - like a lot.
So yeah - Vrusshabha Unveiled - check it out. It's a wild ride. But I'm gonna sleep now - cuz I'm literally falling asleep as I'm writing this. Night.
