45: A Riveting Journey - Unfiltered Movie Review

Original Title: 45

MOVIE

So, I was supposed to be asleep but my roommate was like "dude, you gotta watch this movie" so I'm like okay - let's do it. It's 1am & we just finished 45: A Riveting Journey & honestly - I'm still processing. I mean - it's like if The Office & Inception had a baby & that baby watched too much TikTok - sounds wierd right? But trust me - I mean it in the best way possible - it's like nothing I've ever seen before.

The storyline? Kinda confusing - not gonna lie. Like, it starts off normal & then bam - you're hit with this twist & you're just sitting there thinking "wait, what just occured?" But then you get used to it - it's the charm of the movie, you know? It keeps you on the edge of your seat - literally. My roommate - he hated it. Said it was too much work to keep track. But me? I loved it - it's like a puzzle, you gotta piece it together. But then again - my roommate can't even solve a simple Sudoku, so...

The performances? Top-notch - highkey. I mean, these actors - they brought their A-game. There were moments where I was like "damn, that's some solid acting". Especially the lead - I mean, his performance was good, like really good, I mean damn it was solid. And the music - deadass, it was the heart of the movie. The composer - he's a genius - like Beethoven & Hans Zimmer had a baby kinda genius. But there was this one song - it was kinda annoying, ngl. It's still stuck in my head though - so I guess it did its job right?

Oh btw - this reminded me of when I watched Inception for the first time. It was the same feeling - confusion, excitement, the thrill - you know what I mean? And the theater - man it was freezing. There was this guy sitting next to me - snoring like a chainsaw - ruined the whole experience. But then again - the movie was so good, I kinda forgot about it - kinda.

So yeah - overall, I loved it. Well, actually parts of it annoyed me but overall yeah I loved it. Would I watch it again? Definately. Would I recommend it? Hell yeah. It's not for everyone tho - you gotta have a taste for the unconventional. But if you do - it's a treat. It's like a rollercoaster - a wild, chaotic, thrilling ride - one that I'm glad I didn't miss. And now, I'm off to bed - got work in the morning. But seriously - if you get the chance, watch it. You won't regret it - I promise. Goodnight!
