Original Title: Now You See Me: Now You Don't
MOVIE
so i was supposed to be asleep but ngl, this movie had me hooked from the get-go, like I literally couldn't stop watching - it was that good - no scratch that - it was amazing - like seriously, it was so freakin' good - i mean damn it was solid. The plot was like, if The Office & Inception had a baby & that baby watched too much TikTok - wierd comparison i know but stay with me here.
The original Four Horsemen - they were back & better than ever - like they were on fire - i was literally on the edge of my seat the entire time. After work I went theater & saw movie yesterday - it was good tho - i mean way better than i expected. Now You See Me: Now You Don't, it's a magical illusion of cinematic thrills - literally, I was thrilled the whole time.
Oh btw, this reminded me of when i watched the first movie with my sister - she's the one who recommended this & honestly, she has good taste - I mean, she was right about this one. The new generation of illusionists - they were so cool - like they brought a whole new level of energy - and the whole thing with Veronika Vanderberg, the diamond heiress - that was an unexpected twist - I mean, who saw that coming? It was like a rollercoaster of emotions - highkey exciting.
I loved it... well actually parts of it annoyed me - like some of the dialogue was kinda cheesy - but overall yeah I loved it. It's like they took everything great about the first movie and just amped it up - like they literally turned the dial up to 11 - i mean, the stakes were so much higher this time. My roommate hated it tho - said it was too much, too over the top - but what does he know?
It was definately a wild ride - like I was literally on the edge of my seat the entire time - i mean, my heart was racing - it was so intense. The heist scenes were so well done - like they were so intricate & detailed - I mean, they must've put so much effort into planning them. Honestly, the whole movie was like one big magic trick - like they were always one step ahead of you - you never knew what was gonna happen next.
I mean, I guess that's what makes it so exciting - the unpredictability of it all. It's like, you think you know what's gonna happen, but then they pull the rug out from underneath you & you're like, "Wait, what just happened?" - it's a total mind fuck - but in a good way, you know?
But yeah, overall, it was a great movie - like I would definately recommend it to anyone who's into heist movies or magic or just wants to see something different. It was a fun ride from start to finish & I can't wait to see what they do next.
side note - the theater was freezing - like I was shivering the whole time - but that didn't stop me from enjoying the movie. I guess that's a testament to how good it was - it was so enthralling that I didn't even notice the cold until after the movie ended.
But yeah, that's my review - I hope you found it helpful. If you haven't seen Now You See Me: Now You Don't, do yourself a favor & go watch it - I promise you won't be disappointed.
Now You See Me: Now You Don't Review - A Magical Illusion of Cinematic Thrills - was good, like really good, I mean damn it was solid. If something sucked I'd say it sucked, but this didn't - it was awesome - I mean, it was just so damn good. I cried, I laughed, I was confused, but I loved every minute of it - like literally every single second. It was just so good - I mean, I can't even put into words how good it was - it was just... wow.
