Tere Ishq Mein Review: A Journey of Love and Passion

Original Title: Tere Ishk Mein

MOVIE

So I was supposed to be asleep but - ya know - insomnia & stuff, so I decided to watch this movie Tere Ishq Mein, my sis recommended it & honestly - it was good, like really good, I mean damn it was solid. The plot was kinda unique - a psychology student trying to fix this unstable dude - & then they fall in love - classic but also not, you know? I mean it's a bit like if Good Will Hunting & Titanic had a baby & that baby watched too much Bollywood.

The acting was on point tho - the leads had real chemistry, like you could feel the tension between them. But lowkey, some parts of the movie were just wierd - like why does every single thing have to be so dramatic? I mean I get it's a love story, but c'mon! Highkey though, it was a total rollercoaster - I was on the edge of my seat the whole time - well some of the time.

There were some parts that kinda dragged a bit - like I get character development & all that but it felt like I was watching paint dry. But then BAM - plot twist & I was shook - deadass didn't see it coming. But then again, there were certain points where I was like - really? I mean some of the stuff that occured was just too much.

Oh btw, this movie reminded me of my ex a bit - that whole doomed love thing & all - lol. I mean, I wouldn't compare my love life to a movie, but if I did, this would be it. Ngl, the movie was fr emotional - I was a wreck by the end - like literally sobbing. I mean, I ain't gonna lie, it hit me in the feels. It's like they took my heart, stomped on it, & then handed it back to me.

And can we talk about the music? Like it was so on point - every song was like a punch in the gut - in a good way. It's like if Adele & Arijit Singh had a baby & that baby wrote movie soundtracks. The music was a character in itself - it defined the tone, set the pace, & was just so well done.

So yeah, I loved it... well actually parts of it annoyed me but overall yeah I loved it. It's definately not for everyone - I mean my roommate hated it - but I thought it was pretty cool. It's not perfect, but it's real & raw & that's what makes it so gripping.

But here's the thing - no matter how much I dissect this movie, it's something that you need to experience for yourself. So go ahead, watch it - maybe you'll love it, maybe you'll hate it. But I promise you, it's gonna make you feel something - & that's the magic of cinema, right?
